Her name has been a tough decision...mostly because she has older sisters with beautiful names! I still like the name Ansley, however, it is a "masculine name which means hermitage field," and this is definitely not the meaning for our sweet baby girl. Alaina, on the other hand, means "precious, shining light." Our miracle baby is definitely a precious, shining light! We love you, Alaina!!!

Happy Birth Day!
I'd be lying if I said we hadn't been anxiously awaiting this day! Our third little girl arrived a few days after her due date, but she is healthy and perfect! Phil and I left our house in Rochester Hills about 10:15 p.m. Alaina Sue Wood arrived into the world at 11:24 p.m. at Royal Oak Beaumont. Her face is a little bruised yet because of her quick arrival. Needless to say there wasn't enough time for me to get an epidural as I had with my first two deliveries, but I survived (with a little screaming). She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 19 inches long at birth.
