 Uh oh!  Mom caught me!
That's right...I'm toilet papering the baby.  I'm so proud of myself!

Princess Sugar Sightings

The girls enjoy looking for Princess Sugar each morning.  It's best when Princess Sugar's hiding spot is out of Adelyn's reach. You'll see why below...
We think PS was headed out to go shopping.
Addy thought Alaina wanted to play.
Doc and Princess Sugar were playing Candy Land.  Then we played too.
PS was captured by some Lalaloopsy dolls!  They thought she was a giant.

Rock-a-Bye Baby

Aubrey's 4th Birthday

Aubrey celebrated with friends at AirTime in Troy.  I think everyone had a lot of fun!
 Mr. Potato Head!
A swimming baby doll and matching jammies for her and baby!
Chloe, Lauren, and Aubrey tried a game of basketball.
Put your hands up in the air!
Addy had a blast jumping too!
Aunt Melissa visited from Minnesota!

Big Sisters

Aubrey is already the best big sister!  This summer she asked, "Mommy when the new baby comes will Addy be a big girl like me or will she still be a baby?"  I told her, "Unfortunately Addy will still kind of be a baby."  Aubrey sighed and said, "I don't know if I can take care of two babies!"  I told her I wasn't sure I could either, but we would do our best!
Adelyn is going to be a great big sister too!  She loves babies!  Every now and again amongst all her jabber a sentence clear as day comes out.  When the nurse had taken Alaina from the room today, Addy walked to the door, pointed, and said, "Where's my baby doll?"  She keeps calling Alaina her baby doll...so sweet!

Happy Birth Day!

I'd be lying if I said we hadn't been anxiously awaiting this day!  Our third little girl arrived a few days after her due date, but she is healthy and perfect!  Phil and I left our house in Rochester Hills about 10:15 p.m.  Alaina Sue Wood arrived into the world at 11:24 p.m. at Royal Oak Beaumont.  Her face is a little bruised yet because of her quick arrival.  Needless to say there wasn't enough time for me to get an epidural as I had with my first two deliveries, but I survived (with a little screaming).  She weighed 8 pounds 2 ounces and was 19 inches long at birth.
Her name has been a tough decision...mostly because she has older sisters with beautiful names!  I still like the name Ansley, however, it is a "masculine name which means hermitage field," and this is definitely not the meaning for our sweet baby girl.  Alaina, on the other hand, means "precious, shining light."  Our miracle baby is definitely a precious, shining light!  We love you, Alaina!!!

Finally Walking!

First Day of Preschool

She walked right in her classroom and started to play. I think she had a good day. She didn't say much...she's like her daddy in the communication department. However, I did ask if she was ready to go back tomorrow, and she said, "Yes, but mommy don't take so long tomorrow!" Bless her heart...it is a long day for a little one!

Blog Revival!

It's officially been over a year since my last post on the original blog...aubreyjeanwood.blogspot.com.  I'm going to attempt to try again so that I can document our life events with our three girls.
Ok, I thought I would type this up quickly while the girls took a bath, but after only a couple of sentences Aubrey yells, "Mom, Addy is pooping in the bath!"  And so it goes...life with little ones keeps us busy!  No wonder I didn't keep up with the last blog.  Well, that's all for now.  Aubrey just brought me a sewing kit (that I've had for 15 years and never used).  She says, "Mom, I'm going to show you how to sew."  Her bunny needs to be repaired...wish me luck!

83 Days & Counting!

Well, we're not actually counting down because we've been too busy, and we're not at all ready for baby girl #3 to arrive!  But, I was curious how many days we had until her due date.
